Field Operations Manager

  • Pre-Construction Activities
    • Review Scope and Field Documents.  Document any issues and RFIs.
    • Verify Budget, Subcontracts, and Material & Equipment Master PO.  (Sage 100 Contractor)
    • Meet with company Sales Associate / Estimator (Microsoft Teams).
    • Prepare Equipment List/Needs and Plan Mobilization needs.
    • Communicate with Customer for Scheduling and Special Procedures.
  • Schedule Projects on Sage Field Operations Scheduler (Sage 100 Contractor).
      • Issue Purchase Order from Master PO.
  • Evaluate and Onboard new employees for placement.
    • Verify New Employee Safety Training.
    • Assign New Employee to Crew – Project.
    • Assign appropriate Employee Training Programs.
  • Daily Field Operations
    • Verify employee attendance (Sage Field Operations Scheduling)
      • Review – Approve Daily Field Report, Hours & Cost Codes Worked, (Sage Field Operations)
    • Subcontractor Site Operations
      • Review – Document – Approve (Sage Field Operations)
    • Perform site visits, review and document issues:
      • Work complies with Preparation and Painting Industry Standards.
      • Verify Employee Dress Code.  Neat & Professional Appearance.
      • Verify a clean, organized work site and storage area/trailer.
      • Review Employees Attitude, Skill Level, and Preparedness (PPE, & Tools).
      • Perform Site Safety Inspection of Ladders, Scaffold, and Power Equipment for OSHA Compliance.
      • Meet with Crew Leader, Walk Site, include customer when necessary.
      • Determine material, equipment, & manpower, extra work requirements.
  • Issue Purchase Orders for material & equipment, (Sage Field Operations).
  • Respond to Request for Proposals for Extra Work, prepare Estimate, Proposal, and Acceptance.
  • Monitor Job Cost Performance (Estimated/Actual Cost Variance).
  • Project Closeout
    • Schedule Substantial Completion with Owner for final acceptance.
    • Schedule Demobilization
  • Establish and build good customer relationships.
  • Improve operational management systems, procedures, and best practices.

Skills and Experience

  • Good communications skills, bilingual preferred or desire to become bilingual.
  • Three (3) year’s experience in construction, painting, or other specialty trade.
  • Leadership experience, ability to gain trust and respect of others.
  • Problem solving skills, and ability to develop strategic solutions to operational issues.
  • Meets deadlines, time management skills.
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to work with team, customers and resolve conflict.
  • Technology experience and know how.
  • Bachelor’s degree
    • Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar work experience.
    • Experience working in a technology industry preferably as a support service agent is also required. Few years of experience in a management position is an added advantage.

  • Full-time – Monday – Saturday – Day Shift


$60,000 – $75,000 Annually
